Goodbye to a friend
I just got home from the airport. My friend Michael was leaving for home this morning.
Last night was his last couple of hours and we spent it talking and eating super early breakfast at Waffle House. We squeezed in a few last laughter and extra hugs before he went through security. It’s always sad to say goodbye to good friends. It was a pleasure getting to know him better. I’m glad he decided to spend his last night with us. Although we’ve only gotten to know each other for a period of time, I notice that he’s a genuine and caring person. He didn’t have to spend his last night with my brother and I, but he did and it means a lot. (He’s someone my friends and I just gotten to know; he spent these past two days saying goodbye to all of us. You can tell what a friend he can be.) These past two weeks were great and I miss him already. I hope we’ll have another chance to meet again in the near future.
